We are getting ready for our Annual Holiday Turkey Giveaway, where we'll distribute turkey dinners to Philadelphia families this holiday season. With support from our incredible partners and community we hope to surpass last year’s 1000 turkey quota.

Friends & Family Weekend 2024
Thank you for joining us for the Tyrese Maxey Foundation's Friends & Family Weekend in Philadelphia. It was a memorable weekend that kicked off with a Night of Giving Dinner, followed the next day by a Friends, Family, and Celebrity Golf Tournament with special guests, and wrapped up with our annual 1% Skills Camps for kids aged 7-12 in Dallas and Philadelphia.

Holiday Toy Drive
The Tyrese Maxey Foundation Annual Holiday Toy Drive unfolded across various cities, focusing on enhancing the lives of families and children in Garland, Texas, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Embracing the ethos of continual improvement, increased generosity, and amplified impact by "1%" each year. Residents of the local communities were encouraged to participate by donating new and unused toys at their convenience to TMF Donation Locations, guaranteeing that each toy contributed directly benefited the foundation's chosen recipients.
Holiday Turkey Giveaway
The Tyrese Maxey Foundation Annual Holiday Turkey Giveaway went the extra mile by distributing over 1,000 full Thanksgiving meals, each designed to make a "1%" difference. These meals included turkeys and nutritious dinner sides, embodying our commitment to Getting "1%" Better, Giving "One percent" more, and Making our impact "1" Percent bigger each year and partnering with organizations like DTLR, the Philadelphia 76ers, Stroehmann, Giant, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Pure Fuel, and the Black Farmers’ Association, TMF aimed to alleviate the financial burden on Philadelphia families facing food disparity. A heartfelt thank you to our partners; we eagerly look forward to 2024!
Back-to-School Block Party
The Back-to-School Block Party, generously sponsored by Kroger, Watchbox, and Stroehmann, was a community-driven initiative to empower Garland schoolchildren for a successful academic year. With the help of our partners, the Tyrese Maxey Foundation provided 300 Garland ISD students with free backpacks, school supplies, and haircuts. Additionally, we provided ten laptops to selected Garland ISD students.
